Kroy Biermann Opens Up About Recovering from Injury
He also dishes on how life is "neat" as a TV star.
Kroy Biermann may be more of the strong, silent type on Don't Be Tardy, but the Atlanta Falcons football pro, devoted hubby and loving dad to Kim Zolciak's six children recently gave a far-reaching interview that touches on both his career and private life.
Though tearing his Achilles tendon earlier this fall set him back for this current season with the Atlanta Falcons, Kroy says his road to recovery is a success so far.
"Things are moving a long well," Kroy revealed to Go Griz, the official site for University of Montana, where he played. "I couldn't be happier with the progress. The coaching staff and the organization are great. I'm excited to continue my progress and be ready for next year."
Happy updates about his football legs aside, Kroy also gushed about his life with Kim before the cameras. "It's definitely been a fast-[paced] few years," he says. "This is what I wanted. I always wanted a big family with a lot of kids. I want to be a part of their lives and watch them grow. I love kids. I love being a dad. I couldn't be happier...I'll always be a Montana guy who loves to play football. The reality stuff is fun. I love being next to my wife. The reality thing is more her job. I'm just an innocent bystander. It's great."
Perhaps the best part of being a star on TV? Having footage to share with his children when they get older. "Not many people can say they've had their life recorded and have it to show their kids later," he says. "You can show them running through the house when they were 2-years-old. It's really neat."
Cue the awwwww-es for Kroy! We're thrilled to hear he's even further down the path to recovery and are looking forward to Kroy's return to the field ASAP.
