Kyle Cooke Shares a Behind the Scenes Look at What Summer House Life Is Really Like

Season 5 of Summer House is unlike any season the housemates have spent together, because instead of just heading to the Hamptons after the workweek, the cast lived under one roof together for six straight weeks. Although we’ve seen how each of the cast members’ days typically look—from Zoom meeting marathons to picking out the most perfect outfits—it seems like there’s another side to Summer House life, and Kyle Cooke is revealing it all. 

In a March 23 Instagram post, Kyle shared two photos that he admitted he “didn’t ask for permission to post.” 

“A day in the life,” Kyle captioned the post, which included a photo of his fiancé Amanda Batula hanging out while waiting for a face mask to set. In the second image, Paige DeSorbo proved how innovative she can be when it comes to self care, as she sat with a face mask applied not only to her cheeks, nose, forehead and chin…but her underarms, as well. 

Amanda seemed less than thrilled to discover that the photo had made its way onto social media, commenting, “Duuuuuude,” to which Paige replied, “No like is he kidding me.” Amanda added one more note, writing, “He’s like a dad where he thinks we’re beautiful no matter what. But his posting privileges will be revoked until further notice. All content and captions must be approved by me from here on out because this just isn’t right.” 

Kyle tried to convince Paige that the post was a great idea, adding, “Gonna get you an armpit sponsor nbd.” 

If you’re still a bit confused as to why Paige had applied a face mask to her underarms, another comment she left on the post cleared it up: “Sometimes you gotta detox your pits.”
