While appearing on a recent episode of Page Six's Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member said that once she began to feel curious about her sexuality, she wanted to be up front with her feelings.

"It was the most difficult conversation I’ve ever had with my children and was terrified to have that conversation," she said on the podcast. "I just wanted to be as honest as I possibly could."

When rumors began circulating about the nature of her friendship with Morgan Wade, Kyle said that she began to "wonder" and "question" herself a bit. She acknowledged that feeling on the RHOBH Season 13 reunion, which aired in the spring of 2024.

"I really never thought like this before. This is not the way I was raised. That’s not the way my mind even operated," Kyle continued about how she was feeling before she sat down with her girls. "And all of a sudden I was thinking like that and I wanted to be as honest with them as possible because they are my best friends."

Opening up further about her candid conversation with her kids, Kyle said, "I like to lead by example and I thought, 'You know, if this is what I’m going through and feeling, I want them to always feel comfortable enough to share with me the hardest conversations and know that they’ll be accepted no matter what.'"

Kyle's daughters ended up having an open dialogue with her about sexuality. The diamond holder was incredibly proud of her kids in that moment.

"Having that conversation, their reaction and response to me, I thought, ‘Wow, I mean, I’m just so impressed by these four women in front of me,'" she continued on the podcast. "And I thought, 'Maybe, just maybe, I did do a good job' — because that was my most proud moment as a mom, just seeing how they all reacted."

While Kyle was thrilled at how her conversations with her daughters went, she did note that all of the headlines about her friendship with Morgan have taken a toll on her family.

"My daughters and my family, we're used to seeing stories and stuff, but obviously this was another level," Kyle said on Live! With Kelly and Mark on November 11. "So it really was just sitting down and talking to them about stories that are out there and...they're obviously my first priority."

She added, "As long as they're OK, I don't care what people say. People can say whatever they want about me."
