The most recent RHOBH ‘Wife on the receiving end of one of Kathy’s pranks was none other than her sister, Kyle Richards.
During Part 1 of the four-part Season 11 reunion that aired on October 13, host Andy Cohen asked Kyle about an incident that happened five hours prior to the reunion.
“So I heard you had an interesting encounter on your way to the show this morning,” said Andy, to which Kyle replied, “Yeah, you can say that again!”
As Kyle exited her house to make her way to the reunion, she was met with a spooky surprise: Michael Myers brandishing a knife! Kyle let out a scream when she saw the person dressed as the maniacal murderer from her 1978 horror movie classic Halloween. Andy and the RHOBH cast members had a pretty good idea of who might've pulled the terrifying stunt.
"Kathy, did you do that?" Andy asked at the reunion, while Kathy just shrugged her shoulders and smiled. "Oh my god, that’s amazing," Andy added.
But Kathy’s pranking skills appear to be nothing new, as Kyle and other RHOBH cast members discussed during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show, which you can check out, above.
“Oh my gosh, Kathy’s a born prankster,” Kyle said when asked about Kathy’s penchant for pulling pranks. “She’s just always been like that, it’s her nature.” When asked what Kyle’s favorite prank was that Kathy’s pulled off, she replied, “I’m scared to even say the one I really liked!”
“I’ve known Kathy for 15 years and what she’s really known for are her prank calls,” added RHOBH cast member Crystal Kung Minkoff. “She has been pranking calls since she was a kid.”

And now back to Halloween Kills, which is streaming on Peacock beginning October 15. Andy later asked Kyle during the Season 11 reunion what it felt like stepping back into her role as the now grown-up Lindsey Wallace. Over 40 years ago, Kyle had portrayed Lindsey, the child that Jamie Lee Curtis’ character, Laurie Strode, babysat for in the original Halloween film.
“It’s been unbelievable reprising this role all these years later, working with Jamie Lee Curtis again, it’s been amazing just to be part of this film," Kyle said, adding, "It means so much to so many people."
Several RHOBH cast members recently showed support for Kyle and her return to the iconic horror movie franchise at the premiere of Halloween Kills on October 12, including Dorit Kemsley, Lisa Rinna, and RHOBH alum Teddi Mellencamp. Kathy also made an appearance, dressed up as a dentist named Hunky Dory for the costume-themed occasion.
The RHOBH Season 11 reunion continues with Part 2 on Wednesday, October 20 at 8/7c.
