On Thursday, October 3, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member took to Instagram to share an unfortunate incident that occurred inside her Encino home. Kyle posted a video showing one of her rugs in total shambles — all crumpled up next to its shredded grip pad. Although she questioned who was responsible for the annoying mess, Kyle clearly knew who the culprit was: her Bernese mountain dog, Georgie.

“Who did this? Who did that?” she asked why filming the pooch just a few feet away. “That’s very bad, Georgie. Why would you do this? Why would you rip up this little rug mat?… That is not good.

“Lay down. I’m not happy right now, ” she told Georgie who plopped down in the kitchen. “Don’t try to be cute now.”

Kyle was introduced to Georgie about eight months ago, after she learned the dog’s original owner could no longer keep her. Being the animal-lover that she is, the Beverly Hills ‘Wife agreed to take the pup in and find her a new home.

“I purposely didn’t name her so I didn’t get attached while I was looking for the right home for her,” Kyle wrote in a February 16 Instagram. “Well, I found one… I have always wanted a Bernese Mountain dog and it felt like she was meant to be ours.”

While the rug incident was, no doubt, frustrating, it’s safe to assume Kyle has had experience dealing with puppy mishaps. The multi-hyphenate has more than half a dozen dogs living in her home, including two German Shepherds named Luna and River, a Golden Retriever named Bambi, mixed-breed dogs named Storm and Smokey, and a Pomeranian named Romeo. (You can spot the latter in the video above.)

Kyle on having so many family pets: "I do all the work"

Kyle Richards Explains Who Takes Care of All The Dogs

Kyle spoke about pet-parenting in 2018, when she and her family only owned four dogs. Although she was still living with her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, and their youngest daughters, Kyle revealed it was she who was the dogs’ primary caretaker.

“I do all the work with my dogs,” she said during a sitdown with The Daily Dish. “My kids, of course, when [we] adopt a dog they say, ‘I’m gonna help, I’m gonna help,’ and then don’t.”

She said whenever her family got a new dog, she and Mauricio would assign it to one of the kids, but that plan never worked out.

“They’re all mine,” she said about the four-legged family members. “My husband thinks four dogs is a lot, but the other day we saw a puppy and I sent him a picture, and when I got home he said, ‘Why isn’t that dog here?’… That, to me, was my green light. To me, that means we're looking for a dog."
