Kyle Richards Opens up About Filming RHOBH After Lisa Vanderpump's Departure

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG admitted it was "weird" at first.

By Laura Rosenfeld

This season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was unique for Kyle Richards in that it was the first time her fellow OG Lisa Vanderpump was not a part of the show. Lisa announced that she would not be returning to RHOBH for Season 10 in 2019, and she did not appear at last season's reunion.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Peacock and the Bravo App.

Kyle opened up about what it was like filming the latest season of RHOBH, which airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo, during the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: @ Home After Show on April 29 (clip above). "People keep asking me if it was weird for me to do the show without Lisa. Before we started, I did feel weird because we started together, 10 years ago," she shared. "But once we started filming, the show just takes off, and all these women have so much stuff going on. Things start happening that you really don't think about it, honestly."

Kyle's fellow WWHL: @ Home guest Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave also remarked how this season of RHOBH felt different for her. "I was able to get to know everybody in such a different way than I did my past two seasons as well," she said.

Andy Cohen, who is an executive producer of The Real Housewives, said the current season of RHOBH feels like "a fresh start." "I'm really excited," he said during the WWHL: @ Home After Show. "The feedback on this season of Beverly Hills seems great."

Kyle said that fans seem to have welcomed RHOBH newcomers Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke with open arms. "People are really loving it, so I'm happy," she said. "I think they're loving the new additions."

Lisa said on ET in January that she has "no regrets" about exiting RHOBH, but she isn't ruling out the possibility of a future return. “I can never say never about anything, but I don't know," she said. "It’s not what’s in my radar right now."

Of course, you can still catch up with Lisa in the current season of Vanderpump Rules, which airs Tuesdays at 9/8c. Catch up on the latest seasons of RHOBH and Vanderpump Rules through the Bravo app.
