Kyle Richards Is Making an Unexpected Change to Her Home: "Supposed To Be Building a..."
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member is implementing a unique upgrade to her Encino home's backyard.
Kyle Richards' expansive, beautiful backyard features a gazebo, pickleball court, and even a replica of her Encino home built for her dogs. More recently The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member revealed during a November 19 Amazon Live stream that she's building a "catio," or a "patio" for cats in the backyard area. (ICYMI, Kyle's daughter, Sophia Umansky, got the most adorable cat in October).
When a viewer asked Kyle about taking her cat outside, Kyle revealed she currently "can't do that," but envisioned a place for Sophia's pet to play outside on a catio.
"We are supposed to be building a catio!" Kyle gushed, smiling at the thought of creating an outdoor enclosed area for her cat to roam around. "I'd never heard of a 'catio' until [my daughter] Farrah [Brittany] told me about [it]."

Speaking of Farrah, over the summer Kyle's oldest daughter showed off one of Kyle's "baby houses" while taking a video of the backyard.
Let us explain.
In the July 4 TikTok, Farrah documented her day attending her little sister Alexia Umansky's birthday party, which was held at Kyle's home. Later in the video, as the family was prepping for the party, Farrah revealed her mom's recent addition (and obsession): a full-sized dollhouse or child's play house.
"I saw my mom decided to buy another little dollhouse," Farrah said in a voiceover in the video, showing off the cottage-style miniature home with sage green trim and a matching color door. The house also featured a front porch with window box flowers and a side porch with a set of chairs.
"She's obsessed with these baby houses," Farrah continued in the video. "And there she is talking about this cute little house."
The adorable tiny house also had pink floral wallpaper inside as well as a light green miniature stove and a rocking chair with a teddy bear.
