Kyle Richards and Kathy Hilton brought everyone to tears during Part 2 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 11 reunion, which aired on October 20.

During the sit-down, the sisters looked back on the ups and downs of their relationship that we've seen on RHOBH over the years. Seeing how far Kyle and Kathy have come, host Andy Cohen remarked, "It's nice that there's a happy ending here, right?"

He then asked Kathy for her reaction to seeing Kyle talk about the more challenging times in their family on RHOBH. "It's very sad because the first time I ever saw it was when I saw that episode," she shared.

Kathy confirmed that she was not happy when the first season of the show aired, which memorably ended with an argument between Kyle and sister and RHOBH alum Kim Richards in a limo. "I kept thinking about my mom, like, 'What would my mom do?'" Kathy recalled at the reunion. "And as the oldest sister, I feel, like, [a responsibility]."

However, Kathy said that having their familial struggles chronicled on the show has actually been beneficial. "I think there's a part of me that was very much holding things in like that, don't you think?" Kathy said to Kyle at the reunion. "And when you can stand back and look at yourself by having this on the show like that, if it can help more people pick up the phone or just be more vulnerable and not waste time and a relationship. Because we did, we wasted a lot of time."

Some of the tension between the sisters notably stemmed from Kyle's series American Woman, which was inspired by her childhood growing up in the '70s and aired for one season in 2018. Kathy shared at the reunion that she had only seen the trailer for the drama and that she doesn't "watch TV much."

Andy then pointed out that maybe it would have helped to have seen more of the show. But Kathy shared that anything having to do with their late mother, Kathleen Richards, is difficult for her. "Just the fact that she's not here anymore, it's just very hard for me," she said.

Kathy then got choked up, and Kyle embraced her sister on the reunion couch. As Kyle similarly got emotional, she said, "I do feel like it's really hard for Kathy to talk about anything to do with our mom."

Kyle continued to comfort Kathy as the two shared a touching hug on the couch. "She's watching us right now. Remember, she's so happy we're together. She's so happy we're together," Kyle told her sister as this part of the reunion came to a close. "It's OK to cry about it, too."

As you can see, these sisters are tighter than ever these days, with this season of RHOBH only helping to strengthen their bond. "Doing this with her and having her be a part of this has been really fun and brought us even closer because we talk more often. You know, we're laughing, we're cracking up about the memes of us in bed together," Kyle shared in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show (clip above). "Who would ever think reality television would actually be good for your relationship [laughs]?"

In that same clip, which was first shared exclusively with Bravo Insider members, Kathy shared more insight into how she and Kyle were able to get to such a good place. "Well, I think being thrown together like that and having the opportunity to experience and go on these little vacations and spending time together, just doing silly, fun things and making up for lost time, we're very lucky," she said.

The RHOBH Season 11 reunion continues with Part 3 on Wednesday, October 27 at 8/7c.
