Kyle Richards on Garcelle Beauvais' Supposed Shade: "I Wish She Would Have Said That to My Face"
It sounds like The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ladies have a lot to discuss.
We know there's plenty of drama to come with Denise Richards this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and there already seems to be a beef brewing between Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave and Sutton Stracke. However, we were totally unprepared for the shade Garcelle Beauvais seemed to throw Kyle Richards' way during her April 15 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: @ Home.
As Andy Cohen asked the RHOBH newcomer for her first impressions of the group, she seemed to give Kyle in particular some of the least flattering designations, calling her the "least welcoming" out of everyone in the cast, the Beverly Hills Housewife with the "biggest ego," and the castmate she would "least want to be quarantined with."
When Kyle appeared on WWHL: @ Home a couple of weeks later, she said that she was totally caught off-guard by Garcelle's comments (clip above). "No, I was really surprised. My husband [Mauricio Umansky] and I were watching. He said, 'Why is she talking like that?' I said, 'I have no idea,'" Kyle told. "If she felt like that, I wish she would have said that to my face instead of saving it for Watch What Happens Live."
Andy asked Kyle if she had reached out to Garcelle or spoken to her at all since her inaugural appearance on WWHL: @ Home, to which the RHOBH OG replied, "Hell no."
Then, Andy dug deeper into the specific comments Garcelle made about Kyle, asking for her reaction to being the Beverly Hills Housewife she would "least want to be quarantined with." "I really don't know where that came from," Kyle said. "I thought we got along really well."
Kyle went on to say that she invited Garcelle "to every single thing that I threw" before posing a theory as to why the RHOBH newbie would say she has the "biggest ego" in the group. "I think that she came in and was just like, 'I better have something with someone,' and decided to do that," Kyle explained. "I don't know, because like I said, if she felt like that, she did not say anything like that to my face."
It sounds like these two have a lot to discuss. "So now I know what I'm dealing with," Kyle said. "So I guess we will address this at the reunion."
We'll get the popcorn ready.
