Sex, drugs, and rock & roll: nothing was off limits when Lady Gaga made her first visit to the Bravo Clubhouse for a very special Watch What Happens Live. When Andy Cohen challenged the pop superstar to the traditional WWHL game "Plead the Fifth," Gaga never shied away from revealing the truth, even when the question came to a controversial party drug.
So when Andy asked, "When was the last time you did molly?" (a reference to Ecstasy, a club drug undergoing a resurgence) Gaga started off with a joke.
"Well, I think maybe it's hard to remember," she says, adding that she tried the drug during what she called her "raver days."
"I spent a lot of time at Bonnaroo and going to a lot of festivals. I definitely wouldn't encourage it because it can be dangerous, especially because you don't where you're getting it from. So I guess I would use this opportunity to tell you to be careful with molly."
So there you have it, youth of America: any kind of illegal drug can of course be dangerous and Lady Gaga wants to keep you safe. Gesturing to her massive wall of hair and shell-bra outfit, Gaga adds, "If you get to know molly too well you might turn out like me!"
Later in the show, she warned viewers about another danger when she announced her Jackhole of the Day was flip-flops. Calling them the "gateway job to no sex," she commanded, "Don't do flip-flops!"
Watch Lady Gaga open up about molly and tell us in the comments: should pop stars be honest with fans about their drug use?
