Lisa Vanderpump Reacts to Lala Kent's Pregnancy News: "It Makes Me Want to Cry"
Lala is expecting her first child with fiancé Randall Emmett — and it has LVP in her feelings.
Lala Kent confirmed this week that she is expecting a baby with fiancé Randall Emmett. And you can bet that longtime boss, mentor, and friend Lisa Vanderpump is excited about the happy news.
Lala shared the exciting baby news on her Give Them Lala... with Randall podcast on September 2 in an episode in which LVP was also a guest. "A baby! Oh my goodness! A little baby Emmett! Oh my gosh! How exciting for you guys!" Lisa said, adding, "You know what? It makes me want to cry. But I don't want to cry because my eyelashes will fall off."
Before Lala dropped the baby news on Lisa, the restaurateur opened up about how much she's always loved the mom-to-be. "I always knew you were capable of great things," LVP shared about watching Lala's evolution over the years, noting she's always had a "soft spot" for Lala.
During the podcast episode, Lala shared the happy news through tears, as Randall noted. "I am pregnant... I am so excited," the mom-to-be said. "I feel very maternal and motherly."
Lala, who turned 30 this week, added, "I'm like shaking right now because I can't believe it's a real-life thing. Today it's very much happy tears."
This is the first child for Lala; Randall has two daughters from his first marriage. The couple got engaged in September 2018 and plan to wed in 2021 after postponing their April 2020 wedding due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
