Lala Kent Reacts to Ocean's Latest Haircut: “I Think I F--ked Up” (PHOTO)
Vanderpump Rules' Lala Kent just can't seem to get her oldest daughter's hair right — see her latest cut below.
Lala Kent is not pleased with her 3-year-old daughter Ocean Kent Emmett's hair, again. The Vanderpump Rules mom has had a roller coaster time with her eldest daughter's hair as of late (more on that below), and it just keeps getting more and more interesting.
Lala took to her Instagram Story on Monday, Jan. 20, where she revealed that she had cut Ocean's hair herself. But, she was just a little less than pleased with the results. In the photo, posted to her Instagram Story, Ocean can be seen sporting a classic bob haircut, with straight across bangs, cut right above her eyebrows. Ocean appeared to be unfazed through it all, smiling with her hands in the air, wearing the sweetest matching tie-dye pajama set.
Lala, however, was just a little more upset with Ocean's hair, comparing it to Jim Carrey's character's hair in Dumb and Dumber, who famously sports a bowl cut. "Guys...I think I just f--ked up," Lala captioned the photo.

Lala then took to Amazon Live the next day on Jan. 21, where she confirmed that she had cut Ocean's hair and trimmed her bangs herself. "She has the finest hair in the world, and it's curly," Lala explained. "And she sleeps like I do, so she wakes up with a rat's nest and everyone knows, you have to have a fresh trim so the split ends don't catch each other."
Lala's trim for Ocean ended up in a "bowl cut." But, Lala explained that mistakes like these are to be made with your oldest child.
"Here's the thing, you guys, Ocean no matter what, she's going to be the guinea pig child because that's what the first one is," she said. "You don't know what you're doing, you make mistakes, you're like you know what? Next time I'm going to do better with that...But Ocean is so tough, and I love that no matter what, that girl is so confident."

Ocean had previously had a mishap with her hair in November 2024 when she (not Lala) cut it with tiny nail scissors when Lala wasn't looking. Lala took to her Instagram Story on Nov. 5, where she revealed that she had been on a Zoom call when "Ocean got a hold of the tiniest nail scissors and cut her hair." Ocean, however, was proud of her new chop, after she declared that she didn't want "long hair."
"We worked so hard to get it long! Oh my gosh, it's like a mullet," Lala said in the now-disappeared Instagram Story. "Again! I'm gonna throw up!"
Lala then showed off all of the hair that Ocean was able to chop off when she wasn't looking. Lala added, "Oh my God. I don't think I can take another bad news day. I'm really upset and I'm not joking."
