How Lala Kent Is Managing Making House Upgrades with a Newborn Baby: "It's Going..."
The Vanderpump Rules cast member showed off what caused her "seventh panic attack" of the day in her house in The Valley.
Lala Kent's house in the Valley has been just a little chaotic since the arrival of her second child, daughter Sosa Kent, in early September. But the Vanderpump Rules cast member's two kids — including 3-year-old daughter Ocean Kent Emmett — are not the main cause of anxiety in her family home. Instead, it's the fact that she's making some changes around her house and doing some major organizing.
Lala took to her Instagram Story over the weekend, where she revealed that her living room has been in a state of chaos, especially since she now has double the laundry and clothes with a new addition to the family and she's trying to figure out what to do with all of it. "Whoever was wondering how the organizing was going" Lala said in the now-disappeared Instagram Story, showing off her ottoman, filled with baby clothes and other items related to her children. "It's going well," she concluded, before revealing that she was taking her children's items from one bin and putting them into a "different bin."
Luckily, Lala had the assistance of her mom Lisa Burningham, who was on hand to help her only daughter organize her children's clothes. "There is a method to Lisa's madness," Lala explained in the video. "This is what she did," she said, as she panned over Lisa's piles of clothes. "And said, 'You can start folding now.' Come again?"
"I'm only on my seventh panic attack of the day," Lala added.
As if on cue, Lisa then entered the room with yet another bin for Lala to organize. And although she appeared very frustrated at the time, she was definitely grateful for the help.
How Lala Decorated Her Home for Halloween
In showing off her anxiety-causing piles, Lala also posted her Halloween decorations set up in the living room. Prior to complaining about her organizing, Lala revealed that she was watching a baseball game on TV and showed off her ghost decorations, sitting underneath her TV. The ghosts are extra spooky as they are wearing witch hats and surrounded by little black bats (photo above).
How Lala Kent's home has changed since Sosa Kent's arrival
In addition to having more stuff, Lala's home has slightly changed in other ways since welcoming Sosa into the world. In September, Lala revealed that she keeps Sosa's bassinet in her primary bathroom so she can keep her eyes on her daughter while she is in the shower.
"Yes, it's in my bathroom, because when I shower, I like to see my newborn," Lala explained in the now-disappeared Instagram video.
But, this choice left Lala's night nurse, who she hired to help her out with Sosa while she sleeps, with a certain reaction. "So my night nurse comes and the bassinet is in the bathroom room, right?" Lala explained during a September 18 episode of her podcast, Give Them Lala. "And so she walks in and she goes, 'Oh is this where you keep her at night?'"
"I go, 'No, that's where I put her when I have to shower so I can see her.'"
