Lauri Peterson’s Daughter Ashley Zarlin “Used to Talk” with Albie Manzo

Lauri Peterson's daughter, Ashley Zarlin, was one of the first Real Housewives kids we ever met when she appeared alongside her mom in the very first episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County. But when she recently revisited that seminal series premiere, Ashley had some major tea to spill on another Housewife's child from a different franchise.

Ashley looked back on Season 1, Episode 1 of RHOC with her mom, as well as fellow OG Housewife Jo De La Rosa, in a special "Watch With Jo and Lauri" episode that aired on October 7. When Jeana Keough's eldest child, Shane Keough, appeared on the screen, Lauri remarked to her daughter that he is "so cute!" "I think he's adorable. He still is attractive. He's so cute, but I don't think you could ever handle Jeana as my mother-in-law," Ashley joked to her mom.

Ashley then revealed, "The Bravo kid that I entertained it was Albie."

Here, Ashley is of course referring to Albie Manzo, the eldest child of Caroline Manzo, who appeared on The Real Housewives of New Jersey from Seasons 1 through 5. Lauri confirmed that Ashley and Albie "used to talk all the time."

Fans continue to follow the latest developments in Albie's love life. After Caroline teased that "Albie might be getting engaged soon" at BravoCon in November 2019, Albie went public with his relationship with Chelsea DeMonaco at the beginning of this year.

During the "Watch with Jo and Lauri" episode, Ashley also confirmed that she still keeps in touch with Jeana's daughter, Kara Keough Bosworth, but she hasn't "seen Shane in years." However, Ashley said she did reach out to him "letting him know that I was thinking of him" after his father, Matt Keough, passed away in May.

In case you were wondering why Ashley and Shane never got together  — as it seems like Lauri was during the "Watch with Jo and Lauri" episode — the RHOC daughter explained why their relationship has always been platonic. "Shane and I have always just been friends. I think we maybe thought about it once — and then not again," Ashley shared during the episode. "I think it was like one time at one of the premiere parties that like, 'Oh, hey.' And then I don't remember. No, nothing happened though."
