After Show: LeeAnne Locken’s Behavior in Mexico

When it comes to her past, LeeAnne Locken is an open book. This season on The Real Housewives of Dallas she's had to defend her frankness when it comes to sharing her past experiences, good and bad, and now she's addressing her comments in Mexico regarding suicide, an issue she has discussed about struggling with in the past, as some viewers may have perceived her remarks on that trip as a flippant response to a serious topic.

How to Watch

Catch up on The Real Housewives of Dallas on Peacock or the Bravo App.

She opened up about that response when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Tuesday (October 15).

In the clip above, she said, "Here's the other thing I want to say about Mexico, I got a lot of s--t for 'making fun of suicide.' And I want all of you to realize that that night when I was saying I might, that's a cry for help. That's how I cry for help. So I don't cry like Stephanie [Hollman] in corner. I get strong and aggressive and ugly, and that means I'm really in a bad place."

She continued, "Oh, I got ripped to shreds that I was making fun of suicide. I've tried it three times. Why would I make fun of it? Mental health is so, I'm so impassioned for that and I speak so openly about it that now."
