Are you looking to amp up your beauty routine with some false lashes, but are intimidated by the process? Don't worry, Shahs of Sunset alum and beauty expert Lilly Ghalichi is here to help. The woman behind Lilly Lashes, loved by celebrities like Kylie Jenner and Lady Gaga, shared some of her best hacks when it comes to stepping up your eyelash game with The Daily Dish. So break out your pen and pad and get ready to take notes.
Practice, Practice, Practice
"Practice makes perfect and that goes true with anything. So if you've never worn lashes before you might want to try them on a day when you're just hanging out at home or you're not gong anywhere too important because it's the last thing you're putting on in your makeup look and you can't get them on or you get them on crooked you're going to be really frustrated," Lilly said. "My advice would be to practice and to just try because it's so easy. In your mind, you might have this fear, like, 'I don't know how to put them on. I wont put them on straight.' But if you would just try, it's really really easy."
"Try individual [lashes]. So if you're not very comfortable with applying a strip then you can get individual lashes and those are so easy," Lilly explained. "It's just a cluster of lashes, you dip the end in glue and stick wherever you want so you can fill in holes."
You Can't Do It Wrong
"People think that [it's harder for individual lashes versus strips,] but it's really not because you can put one in [or] you can put 20 in and they just blend right into your own lashes. And there's no right or wrong way to put them on because you're just literally adding lash versus a strip [which] you kind of have to get it straight, you've got to get it on there. But even that is not hard," Lilly said. "Just give it a shot, practice it a little, and, trust me, you'll become obsessed and you will never want to be without them."
