Lindsay Hubbard Details Her Living Arrangement with Her Boyfriend Ahead of Baby's Arrival
The Summer House cast member shared new details on what's next for the couple as they welcome their first child.
Lindsay Hubbard has been getting her NYC apartment into shape ahead of giving birth to her first child that she is expecting with her boyfriend this holiday season. The Summer House cast member is still living in the Manhattan apartment that she once shared with her ex-fiancé, Carl Radke. But, she has made some major changes to it, overhauling the furniture, adding in some new color, and transforming the second bedroom into the perfect nursery for her baby girl.
Even though Lindsay just renewed the lease on the apartment in May, she isn't too worried about her living arrangements once the baby comes — even though her boyfriend does not live with her. The PR maven appeared on the Housewives Nightcap podcast on Aug. 29, where she revealed that she is taking things with her boyfriend "one step at a time."
"I'm not even thinking about moving in together," she said. "We live so close to each other in New York, literally within blocks. We're on the same avenue. And once the baby comes, I'm sure he'll spend every single night because he's obsessed with her, and doesn't want to miss anything about her. So and then, when the timing is right and our relationship, maybe we'll move in together."
Lindsay noted that taking things one day at a time has kept the pressure off of the relationship. "I just didn't want to put any more pressure, obviously, on this relationship that already comes with being pregnant and having a baby puts a lot of pressure on a new relationship," she said. "So I took all the outside pressures off. And it's working for us."
How Lindsay Hubbard's boyfriend has been prepping for their baby's arrival
Lindsay took to her Instagram Story earlier this week, where she shared scenes from her apartment prep. She revealed that she had a new couch installed, a new headboard put in, and her nursery furniture was delivered. Luckily, her boyfriend was on hand to help put the baby's furniture together.
The nursery had been in a "state of emergency" until he was able to come to the rescue to unload the boxes and put things together. "Update: boyfriend is here putting the nursery furniture together!" she wrote over the photo.
Thank goodness he lives close enough to her for all of the baby-related emergencies — from furniture to everything in between.
