Lisa Barlow Answers All of Our Questions About *That* Fresh Wolf Event
The family event's guest list caused a stir, and now the RHOSLC cast member is revealing all.
The Barlow family's Fresh Wolf event supporting Utah Foster Care gave The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City ladies and fans alike A LOT to talk about when it was featured in the October 31 episode. And you better believe the questions continued in the November 7 episode of RHOSLC.
When the group got together for Mary Cosby's Italian cooking class, Jen Shah confronted Lisa Barlow about why she wasn't invited to the Fresh Wolf event when Meredith Marks and Whitney Rose both received invitations. "There's gonna be lots more events, and it wasn't meant to hurt anybody's feelings," Lisa told everyone during the episode. "This was about my kids, it was about me being a mother and about my kids."
Jen expressed that it hurt her feelings to not receive an invite to the event, and Lisa explained that her son, Jack, put together the guest list. She also said that Whitney was invited because she "was extending an olive branch" amid their conflict this season.
Lisa ultimately apologized to Jen about not having her at the Fresh Wolf fête. "I know that hurt you," Lisa shared. "And I am very sorry."
Though everything seemed resolved at that point, Andy Cohen had some lingering questions for Lisa during her visit to the Bravo Clubhouse on November 7. The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host asked Lisa more about why she only invited Whitney and Meredith to the Fresh Wolf event. "Because I know Meredith won't engage," Lisa simply responded in the above clip ("disengaging" is kind of Meredith's thing, after all).
As for why Lisa's son didn't put Jen on the guest list, Lisa said, "Well, you're gonna find that out pretty soon."
Lisa addressed more of the biggest moments from this season of RHOSLC during her chat with Andy, which you can check out, above.
Even with all the drama surrounding the guest list, Lisa only has the fondest memories of the Fresh Wolf event. She sent her fellow organizers, husband John and sons Jack and Henry, all the love in a post on Instagram after the episode aired on October 31. "Blessed to call [John] my husband and [Jack] and Henry my angel babies," Lisa wrote in the post, which featured several photos from the event. "We love working with [foster care] across the USA and [Utah Foster Care] here in Utah."
She shared a similar sentiment on Twitter. "I loved doing this special event with my kids. I feel so blessed to be their mom!" Lisa gushed in the tweet. "Love you so much Jack and Henry and love your kind hearts."
Lisa also shared a photo of all of the event's attendees on Twitter and wrote, "So grateful for everyone who came and supported!"
