How to Watch

Watch the The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City on Bravo Wednesdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

In the above preview for Season 5, Episode 9 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, which is set to air November 13, John Barlow gets his own confessional interview to discuss Lisa Barlow's relationship with her friend group.

"It feels like it's non-stop," he says of the drama. "It's like, Lisa breathes: She did something wrong. Lisa sneezes: She did something wrong. What next? Whose turn is it to yell at Lisa?"

John's take comes during the RHOSLC cast's couples' trip to Palm Springs. While seated for a dramatic breakfast in the sneak peek, John also defends Lisa in front of the entire group, where her actions are being called into question by Whitney Rose, Angie Katsanevas, and their husbands, Justin Rose and Shawn Trujillo.

"So, rewind. Ask Lisa, 'Did she do it?' Ask a question with a question mark at the end," John says, addressing the rumor that Lisa leaked information to a blogger accusing Whitney of reselling Alibaba jewelry under her PRISM brand. Then, when Whitney does ask Lisa and she answers "no," John calls the conversation "done."

"That's done. There's nothing more," he adds, going on to tell Whitney that Lisa has never lied about her — nor about any of the women at the table.

Meanwhile, Bronwyn Newport jokes about John's easygoing "fix" to the drama in her own interview.

"Who knew all we needed was John Barlow to tell us 'that's the end!' and it would tie this all up with a pretty little bow?" she says with a laugh. "All we needed was the men to come and solve our silly little women's problems. The end!"

At the beginning of the above preview, John leads Lisa somewhere private to chat about her drama with the group.

"This is just uncomfortable for me," she says. "This is so uncomfortable."

"Well, it seemed like you guys were all getting a long for a second in the hot tub. And then all of a sudden it went sideways," says John. "It's weird for me, seeing you and Bronwyn not get along."

A split of Lisa Barlow and John Barlow.

Lisa, for her part, admits that she "loves" Bronwyn — they've been friends for years, after all.

"You know, I think there's one common denominator with both Bronwyn and Angie. It's Whitney. I think it's Whitney. I think Whitney stirs up so much sh-t," she adds.

John's advice? Lisa and Bronwyn should have a conversation without anyone else around.

"You can have just a concise conversation with her and you can not possibly have someone else try to steer her a different direction," he says.

Lisa also unpacks the situation in her own confessional. "I definitely don't want to leave this trip early. I came here to celebrate Todd and Bronwyn. That's what I want to do. I wanna fix things with Bronwyn and I want to move forward. I don't want the rest of the trip to feel like this," she says.
