How Does Lisa Vanderpump *Really* Feel About Being Called "Manipulative"?
The #PumpRules and #RHOBH restaurateur doesn't always keep a stiff upper lip.
Lisa Vanderpump often has a tough and cool exterior on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. However, Erika Girardi's accusations about the restaurateur manipulating her castmates have really struck a nerve. "I hate that. I barely have time to manage my own life, let alone other people's lives, with three restaurants, I think I've hosted 12 charity events this year. It's like I've done, what, 52 episodes of reality television in the last six months?" Lisa told a caller during Monday's Watch What Happens Live (clip above). "I mean, really, I'm literally just trying to stay afloat, so I call BS on that."
Though we usually see Lisa brush off insults from her fellow 'Wives with her dry British humor, she told Andy Cohen that they really do hurt her sometimes, such as during Season 4 when she had some major drama with Kyle Richards and Brandi Glanville.
However, Lisa never gets too mushy with the Vanderpump Rules crew. She's too busy keeping those SURvers in line, after all. "I have to be tough, but you also see I'm very sensitive with them as well to their needs. But they're not my friends," Lisa explained to Andy. "But I care about them. I'm compassionate about them. I'm invested in their life, but they're not really invested in mine. Like I thought some of these women [on RHOBH] were friends, so that's why it hurt so much."
In particular, Lisa has been at odds with Yolanda Hadid this season of RHOBH. Watch her explain where things stand with her castmate today, below.
