Kristen Taekman on Luann de Lesseps' Engagement: "I Think She Deserves Love"
The #RHONY alum showers the bride-to-be with love following the news of her impending nuptials.
Luann de Lesseps is feeling the love after announcing her engagement to Thomas D'Agostino Jr. And her latest well wish comes from Real Housewives of New York's Kristen Taekman, who is very excited to hear that Luann will soon walk down the aisle with her businessman beau.
"No [I'm not surprised it happened so fast] because I think probably when you fall in love, you fall in love," Kristen told The Daily Dish. Luann confirmed her engagement to Thomas on February 8 after only several months of dating. "I'm really happy for her. I think that's awesome. I think Luann is an amazing woman and I think she deserves love. It's very exciting. I'm very happy for her."
Luann and Thomas were first introduced to one another by fellow New York Housewife, Dorinda Medley. Following the big announcement, the RHONY rookie opened up to us about the recently-engaged pair and dished about why she thinks they make such a great couple."They're just very similar — the same interests and they both have this joie de vivre that's as endearing as it is infectious," she said. "I think they have reflective personalities — they seem to view life through the same lens. They both love traveling, being on a boat, having great food, being among friends... They're definitely spur-of-the-moment people who love to be out and both are very enthusiastic about living it up!"
