Luann de Lesseps Reflects on the "Ride" 2018 Has Been
The Real Housewives of New York City pal said, "I feel overwhelmed by the love and support I’ve received."
For Luann de Lesseps, the holidays weren't so jolly last year. On Christmas Eve 2017, The Real Housewives of New York City pal was arrested for charges including disorderly intoxication. And the year to follow would have its share of challenges, as well.
There were some welcome developments in 2018 for Luann, who is now a bonafide cabaret star. But the singer would also face more difficulties throughout the year. Luann completed two stints in rehab and had a disagreement with her children and ex-husband over real estate, which led to a lawsuit. She also missed the Season 10 reunion as a result of her second stint in rehab, following the tension with her family. Luckily, she says she and her children have now resolved their issues and a judge accepted her plea deal in connection with her 2017 arrest. Luann even marked her 100th day sober recently. She also launched a jewelry line, bought a waterfront vacation home in upstate New York, and is now readying for her holiday-themed #CountessandFriends line-up. So as 2018 draws to a close, Luann is taking a moment to reflect on it all.
In a December 10 Instagram post, the RHONY pal posted a collage of pictures from the year. "2018 has been quite a ride," she wrote. (She can say that again!) Luann continued: "Thank you all for going through my journey with me. I feel overwhelmed by the love and support I’ve received."
