Lydia McLaughlin's Mom Clarifies Her Comments About Shannon Beador

The #RHOC mom and daughter open up about that unforgettable moment.

As you might recall, Shannon Beador and Lydia McLaughlin faced off on Monday's The Real Housewives of Orange County (clip above), and the topic of comments that Lydia's mom made about the OC mom came up in the process. Lydia's mom had shared with her daughter that she thinks that Shannon is a "lost soul." Now Lydia's mom, Judy Stirling, is clarifying what exactly she meant by that statement.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on  Peacock and the Bravo App.

“I feel like in a way we’re all lost souls and we’re just trying to shine our light in that darkness," she told PEOPLE.

During the PEOPLE sit-down, Lydia was quick to note that her mama actually does like Shannon — with Judy saying that she feels they are “simpatico.” She added, “You're so awesome. I watched two episodes, that’s all I could watch — like [Lydia] said it’s so difficult to watch when you’re not on it. But I just thought [Shannon] was so awesome. And I totally related to her in every way. The feng shui thing is a little bit too much for me, I don’t need [nine lemons in a bowl], but I love her! I think she’s cool!”

And Judy did have a message for Shannon: “I think you’re awesome. We’re all lost souls — no offense.”

Make sure you tune into RHOC every Monday at 9/8c. Preview, below.
