Madison LeCroy is blessing fans with another proud momma moment.
On Friday, January 10, the Southern Charm cast member returned to Instagram to celebrate her son Hudson’s impressive honor. Madison shared the moment as she and her fellow parents gathered in a school auditorium, where Hudson and his peers were recognized for their academic achievements.
The video began with a faculty member announcing Hudson’s full name through the microphone, prompting the 12-year-old boy to stand up and take the sage.

Hudson walked up to the podium and received a red ribbon before shaking hands with the school staff.
“So proud!” Madison captioned the clip.
So why was the Southern Charm son being honored? Well, all was revealed in Madison’s subsequent post.
Minutes after Hudson was presented, his mom uploaded a photo of him posing with an A-B Honor Roll ribbon and a “Certificate of Special Recognition.”
Madison opens up about her co-parenting relationship with her ex
The special moment came roughly a month after Madison opened up about her family life. The South Carolina native shares Hudson with her ex-husband, Josh Hughes, whom she divorced after three years of marriage.
“When I found out I was pregnant, I definitely wanted a son,” she said in the Southern Charm Season 7 premiere (2020). “I was 20 when I got married. And I had Hudson when we were 22. And we divorced when Hudson was 3 years old. And we do co-parenting, so we’re 50 percent on [and] 50 percent off.”
Fast-forward to December 2024, when Madison shed more light on her and Josh’s co-parenting relationship.
“Obviously, we were very young when we had Hudson and I was very shocked at how quick that we realized it wasn’t about us and it was about Hudson and what’s best for him,” she told The Daily Dish. “And I think that we both have done a wonderful job at keeping that the main priority. I think we’re actually doing pretty good at that.”
What does Hudson think of Madison and Brett's baby plans?
Years after her divorce, Madison tied the knot with firefighter chief Brett Randle. The two celebrated their second wedding anniversary in November and are now looking to expand their family. Madison spoke about a potential pregnancy in late 2024, revealing Hudson was fully on board with the family addition.
“Just recently, he gave me permission to have a sibling,” the Southern Charm mom told Us Weekly. “He said, ‘Mom, you can have a baby now.’ And I said, ‘Oh, OK. Thank you. I’ve been waiting on you to say that’… “[We’re keeping] our fingers crossed.”
