Why Madison LeCroy Was "Crying" After Her and Brett Randle's Romantic Trip: "I Hate It"
The Southern Charm cast member came home to an unfortunate situation: "I am crying right now."
Madison LeCroy isn’t pleased.
Fresh off her tropical getaway with her husband, Brett Randle, the Southern Charm cast member found herself in an unexpected — and kind of funny — hair emergency. But don’t get too worried: Madison’s golden locks are just fine, as it was her adorable puppy, Karen, who experienced the unfortunate hair change.
“I am crying right now because they just cut Karen’s hair off,” she said with a little laugh. “I took her to this place while we were out of town and her hair was all matted. Karen… Look! Oh my god. I hate it.”
Madison's son, Hudson, reacts to their dog's "bad haircut"
The October 4 video showed the Shih Tzu with a lion cut, a style in which the entire body (except for the head, ears, and tail) is shaved.
But Madison wasn’t the only person upset with Karen’s new look. Her 11-year-old son, Hudson, had a very understandable response when he saw the dog’s fresh buzzcut.
“Eww. No!” he said before dropping his shoulders in disappointment.
“Just goes to show how a bad haircut can really change your whole vibe,” Madison captioned another video of Hudson and his friends playing with Karen.
Madison demands answers from a pet hotel
The Southern Charm-er made it clear she wasn’t blaming the groomer, but rather the staff of the pet hotel where Karen had stayed. She explained her frustration in an email complaint to the dog-boarding facility.
“I am writing to express serious dissatisfaction …” the email read in part. “When I picked [Karen] up, I was shocked to find her covered in mats, to the point that my groomer had no choice but to shave her. This is completely unacceptable and shows a clear lack of attention to basic care… I expect a thorough explanation as to how this happened, as well as how you intend to rectify the situation moving forward.”
She jokingly captioned the Story, “So we’re suing.”
Madison reveals she was compensated for her puppy's "buzzcut"
Madison returned to Instagram a few hours later to share a quick “update.” She confirmed that the pet hotel agreed to pay for Karen’s $175 haircut, but felt that still wasn’t “good enough.”
“I don’t really know what they can do,” Madison said while holding her puppy. “If I had known this was gonna happen, I wouldn’t have even left town.”
She continued: “I will say that I had a lot, a lot of local people who used that same resort… It had 4.9 stars and everybody was like, ‘No, no. I had the worst experience’… I’m like, what the heck? Yes, did I go into the lobby but I should’ve went back in the kitchen, you know what I mean? My poor little thing.”
