Malia White and Wes Walton's Relationship Status Is...
Find out where things stand between the #BelowDeckMed lovebirds today.
No one knew what the future held for Malia White and Wes Walton as they stepped off the Sirocco at the end of this season of Below Deck Mediterranean. Sure, they shared a passionate kiss before their departure and left the door open for a future relationship, but did romance really bloom for the yachties once the charter season was over?
Well, everyone that has been shipping Malia and Wes can rejoice! The Below Deck Med crew members did, in fact, begin a relationship with each other after the season ended, and they're still together today, they shared during Watch What Happens Live: Below Deck Mediterranean.
The Below Deck Med yachties also confirmed to The Daily Dish that they are still a couple, although Malia played it a little coy. "Since the charter season, we've actually hung out quite a bit," she said, before joking that it was "too much."
Malia and Wes have even taken their romance around the world, traveling to Fort Lauderdale, Colorado, Los Angeles, and Spain together before reuniting with the whole Below Deck Med crew in New York City earlier this month.
The big question facing the pair now is what the future holds for them, according to Wes, especially since they're both still working in the nomadic occupation of yachting. "I mean, I'm at this point in my career where I have to get on a boat for a long time. And it's gonna be in a big position, big role, on a bigger boat," Wes said. "And I think the hardest thing now in yachting is we have to decide if we want to work on the same boat together or try and find different boats if we'd like to work separate. I think we'd like to work together again."
Malia agreed. "We're pretty easy to work together, which that's rare to find," she said. "I think that'd be a lot of fun to do again. And Bobby [Giancola]. And Max [Hagley]."
Since Malia earned her captain's license after this season of Below Deck Med, she is keeping Wes on his toes, putting the pressure on him to get some more nautical knowledge. He's currently taking courses to receive his officer of the watch 3000 ton license. "Malia got a bigger license after the show actually, so I had to go back to school to make sure I had a bigger license than her," he joked. "So I think we bounce well off each other at work, and it's a lot of fun, and I'd like to keep working with her on boats in the future."
Things didn't end so well between Malia and Adam Glick this season of Below Deck Med. But does the chef still have feelings for the deckhand today? Find out, below.
