Mariah Huq and her husband, Dr. Aydin Huq, recently had their 15th wedding anniversary! The Married to Medicine couple had planned to take a sunny vacation to celebrate their love, but had to change their plans in light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

How to Watch

Watch Married to Medicine now streaming on Peacock and the Bravo App.

“Me and the babe was supposed to be on a beach vacation this week to celebrate our anniversary,” Mariah wrote in an Instagram post on March 20. “Instead, we canceled and he is working on his off days! So many people making sacrifices and all they ask is for us to make a small one. Stay home.”

The week before, Mariah shared an image of the back of their car, which contained blankets, a teddy bear, water, and an empty laundry hamper labeled, “Dirty scrubs.”

“When you’re Married to Medicine in REAL life during an outbreak and your spouse works Frontline in the Emergency Room, you have to create quarantine zones to protect your kids!” Mariah wrote. “No scrubs in the house! Sending prayers to all healthcare workers during this mess. Stay well…”

Although the Huqs had to cancel their trip, Mariah kept the romance alive with a sweet anniversary message to her husband.

“Happy 15th Anniversary,” she wrote. “Against all odds, our love has conquered all. So glad that we build this amazing life together. We’re blessed to have created a platform like Married to Med to continue to show the world beautiful, successful, happy diverse families like ours. Thank you for always believing in me and supporting my dreams! Looking forward to continuing this journey called life with you! Onward and upward!”
