Toya Bush-Harris Has a New Perspective on *That* Heated Season 1 Moment with Mariah Huq

Married to Medicine wasted no time in making our jaws drop. One of the most intense and unforgettable moments of the series ever happened back in Season 1 when things got physical between Toya Bush-Harris and Mariah Huq during a party at Kari Wells' house. The ladies exchanged words about Mariah's mother, Lucy, but things really got heated after Mariah stroked Toya's hair as they were talking. 

Now, after looking back on Season 1 of Married to Medicine, Toya told The Daily Dish (clip above) that she would have definitely reacted differently in that instance. "I would probably tell myself to walk away from loud people that like to touch your hair. When they get too close and in your space, just walk away," she said when asked what she would tell herself in Season 1 of Married to Medicine. "Run away, actually. Run."

Mariah told The Daily Dish that she would also tell herself to handle Season 1's sticky situations differently. "There's gonna be some tough times, but everything you don't have to respond to," she said. "Sometimes you just need to be cute and mute."
