Meet Kandi, Atlanta's newest Housewife

Kandi confirms! A new Atlanta housewife will join the scene when the hit show returns for a second season. Meet Kandi Burruss, Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter and former member of the hit girl group Xscape. Remember a little ditty called "No Scrubs" by TLC? Well, she wrote it, and I still can't get out of my head because it's that catchy.

Kandi's a single mom but she's also major player in the music industry, having written songs for big name artists like Mariah Carey and Alicia Keys. We can't wait to see how she balances her glamorous social calendar with her homelife.  We also can't wait to see how the other wives react to her arrival on the scene.  Will she become Kim's singing mentor? Will she duke it out with Sheree in a battle of the Rolodexes? Oh, the possiblities!
