Meghan King Edmonds: ‘I Regretted My Boob Job’
The #RHOC star opens up about going under the knife.
When the newest addition to the Real Housewives of Orange County’s Meghan King Edmonds was 26 she decided to go under the knife.
The wife of famed baseball player, Jim Edmonds, went from an A cup to a D cup and immediately felt like she had made the wrong choice. “I initially regretted it for the first couple weeks,” she tells People. “I felt really vain, shallow and like I wasted a lot of money.”
"I felt like I was going against everything I stood for as far as feminism and owning your own body. I thought, ‘Men don’t get plastic surgery, why should women?’”
It was surprising for Meghan, who originally thought the procedure would be freeing. “I had felt it would be nice to not have to wear a pushup bra anymore, and I could afford it. So I went in and paid cash,” she says. “It felt really liberating.”
With time, the RHOC star started to feel better about her choice. “Once the pain went away and they settled in, I felt really good about it,” she says. “Especially now, I love it because I got really into fitness when I started dating my husband and I lost a ton of body fat, so I have nothing but an implant anymore.”
