Meghan King Edmonds Will Appear in The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 14
The RHOC alum will reunite with the crew next season.
We won't just be meeting new Housewife Braunwyn Windham-Burke in Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, which premieres Tuesday, August 6 at 9/8c. We'll also get the chance to say "hello again" to a familiar face.
Meghan King Edmonds will be making an appearance in the upcoming season of RHOC, The Daily Dish has confirmed. This will be Meghan's first appearance on RHOC since she stepped away from the series after Season 12.
Meghan announced her departure from RHOC in January 2018 after joining the series in Season 10. "Today is a bittersweet day for me. After three seasons of the rollercoaster that is The Real Housewives of Orange County I’ve decided to hang up my OC Housewife hat," she wrote in a blog post on her website at the time, adding that filming the show took "a massive emotional toll" and a "physical toll" on her as she underwent IVF treatments in Season 11 and adjusted to life as a new mom to daughter Aspen in Season 12.
Since we last saw Meghan on RHOC, she has welcomed two new additions to her family: twin sons Hayes and Hart, who turned 1 in June. Meghan has also been working on building a big, beautiful home for her and her family in St. Louis, Missouri.
Unfortunately, Meghan's life post-RHOC has also been filled with some challenges. She has been dealing with the aftermath of her husband Jim's cheating scandal after he admitted in June that he had "engaged in an inappropriate conversation" with another woman via text message. Meghan later shared the news that her son, Hart, was diagnosed with "irreversible brain damage."
Meghan has continued to receive support from many in the RHOC family amid her recent struggles, including Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, Gretchen Rossi, Lizzie Rovsek, and Lydia McLaughlin.
"I'm a mom, that's my strength and I need it. With fame, I've discovered the highs are very high and the lows are very low. I have had support from the housewives but my main support network are my close friends and family here in Missouri," Meghan said during a recent interview with DailyMail.com. "My family is the ultimate example of a loving, supporting family and they know how to support my husband and I as a unit without condemning his actions... I’ve just got to have faith that he’s not going to screw up. But I know he’s not going to screw up. He really wants to make this work."
