It's a well-known fact by now: before landing her role on Suits, Meghan Markle had a string of gigs that included playing a briefcase model on Deal or No Deal. She's in good company — Chrissy Teigen was a briefcase model, too!
But, Teigen's not the only famous face Markle ran into during her time on the NBC game show. According to an upcoming biography on Prince Harry's love, Donald Trump also appeared on the show during its 2006-2007 season.
So, did the future duchess and the current POTUS hit it off? Not exactly. The Sunday Times provided an excerpt from the biography, Meghan: A Hollywood Princess, and it will tell you all you need to know:
"One [Deal or No Deal] guest caused quite the frisson: Donald Trump, then making a guest appearance to cross-promote The Apprentice," writes biographer Andrew Morton. "He gave girls his card and invited them to play golf at one of his courses. Fellow briefcase girl Tameka Jacobs told me, 'He was super-creepy, but some girls were attracted to money and power and took his number. Meghan was one of the girls who gave him a wide berth.'"
In short, it looks like Markle and Harry won't spend their $15,000 honeymoon at Mar-a-Lago.
