Melissa Gorga's Daughter Antonia Won't Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey — with One Exception

Melissa and Joe Gorga's daughter, Antonia Gorga, has grown up right before our very eyes over the course of her mom's seven seasons on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Quite literally, in fact. Antonia was only 5 years old when we first met her back in Season 3, and now she's practically a young woman at 13 years old.

So as Antonia gets older, you might think that she'd be more inclined to check out what's going on over on RHONJ. But if you thought that, you'd be wrong. "I don't really watch it, to be honest," Antonia told E! News while making her red carpet debut at the premiere of Second Act in New York City on Wednesday, December 12. "Unless I'm on it. I need to watch myself." 

The RHONJ moments with Antonia and her brothers Gino and Joey are absolutely adorable, after all. But Melissa still wishes her daughter took just a little bit more interest in the show. "I always say, she's very unaffected by the show," Melissa told E! News at the event. "She's been on it since she's 5 and it just doesn't faze her, it really doesn't. Sometimes I want it to, sometimes I'm like, 'Don't you think I'm the coolest mom?' She's like, 'No.'"

Melissa has also recently been trying to teach Antonia "the ins and outs" of her Envy boutique so that she can understand what it's like to be a small business owner. Unfortunately, the teen's enthusiasm for this subject seems to be a little lacking for the moment. "It's always fun trying to teach a teenager about real work — not," Melissa joked to The Daily Dish in August (clip above).
