Meredith Marks has reconciled with her husband, Seth Marks, after a brief separation, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member recently confirmed to PEOPLE. "We love each other," Meredith told the publication. "He's my best friend and he always will be."

How to Watch

Watch the The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City on Bravo Wednesdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

Meredith first opened up about her separation from Seth earlier this season of RHOSLC. We've watched the couple, who wed in 1996 and are parents to three adult children (Reid, Brooks, and Chloe), work to try and figure out the future of their marriage while navigating a long distance relationship due to Meredith's business in Utah and Seth's work in Ohio.

The RHOSLC jewelry designer told PEOPLE that she and Seth "decided to try and start over" after going to couples counseling. "While we have had many other separations in the past and at times dated other people, last winter during filming we were not dating other people and we very focused to see if we could repair our relationship," Meredith added.

In fact, Meredith said that documenting all aspects of her life on RHOSLC this season is partly responsible for bringing her and Seth back together. "It sounds crazy, but Real Housewives of Salt Lake City saved my marriage," Meredith told PEOPLE. "The show really forces you to be very introspective and really think about the things you say and how they impact other people."

Self-isolating amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic this year also helped the couple reconnect, according to Meredith. "We were really quarantined and together, and reevaluating what's important, what you care about," she said. "And we were spending all this time together, which we realized we really wanted to be together, we enjoyed spending time together."

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen earlier this month, Meredith opened up about the emotional experience of watching these difficult moments with her husband back this season of RHOSLC.

"Honestly, I cried watching that. It was really sad to see, and stepping out and being able to reflect back is very strange and unusual," she shared. "But when I made this choice, I knew I had to disclose what was happening. It took me some time to gain the courage to do it. And I do think that having talked with some of the ladies earlier on, it may have been a lot easier on me if I had done that. I do."
