Did Monique Samuels' Security Cameras Capture That Alleged Incident with Michael Darby?
The moment was alleged to have occurred at The Real Housewives of Potomac mom's Rainbow Party in Season 4.
In the wake of the sexual assault allegation made against Michael Darby, Karen Huger, Monique Samuels, and Candiace Dillard Bassett continued to talk about the shocking news while out to dinner with their husbands in last Sunday night's episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, which you can view, above. Monique noted that Michael said in his statement that he was in the basement when this alleged incident occurred at her Rainbow Party earlier this season.
Monique explained during her July 21 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen why the security cameras at her Potomac home didn't capture anything. "Yes, I have cameras in the top levels of my house. I don't have any in the basement," she said. "And I have them on the outside, but not in that area."
Though the charges against Michael were ultimately dropped, Monique opened up to The Daily Dish earlier this season about how intense things were for all of the RHOP ladies in the time immediately after the allegations were made. "It was really crazy, especially when the charges came along. I think that was the most shocking part. Michael being playful, like we're all used to that. I certainly felt like it was taken out of proportion in some instances. But when the charges came about, it was like, whoa, like this is real life. Like, this is really happening. It's not all fun and jokes anymore," Monique recalled. "So thank god the charges were dropped. But it was really a tough time. I think everybody was a little on edge and stressed out."
