The former LIVE co-host just started a new chapter in his career.

Months after he abruptly announced his exit from LIVE, Michael Starahan officially kicked off his full-time gig at Good Morning America on Tuesday, September 6. The former football pro was welcomed by anchors George Stephanopoulos and Robin Roberts for his debut in his new amped-up role with the news program. And everyone certainly seemed excited to have Michael on board.

Michael looked rather comfy at the anchor desk alongside George and Robin.

As Michael celebrates his new chapter, there's still no official word on who will take the place he once occupied alongside Kelly Ripa on LIVE following his departure back in May. However, Kelly kicked off the new season of the talk show on Tuesday with guest co-host with actor Morris Chestnut by her side.

So, would Anderson Cooper ever consider the job? Find out what he had to say about it earlier this year, below.
