You Have to See Miranda Lambert Sing TLC's "No Scrubs"
Kandi Burruss is totally fangirling out on it.
It's no secret that Kandi Burruss appreciates country music (remember her writing session with Jo Dee Messina on The Real Housewives of Atlanta?), but the songwriter seems particularly tickled that one of country's biggest stars knows all the words to one of her biggest hits. Miranda Lambert and her glam squad took makeup brushes, a lint brush, a Thermos and a Champagne bottle to use as pretend microphones as they sang along to TLC's 1999 hit "No Scrubs" in a "one take wonder" video posted to Instagram, which Kandi shared on her own account as well.
"This is too cute seeing Miranda Lambert & her team singing #NoScrubs. It’s an amazing feeling to know that people still enjoy a song that [Tameka "Tiny" Harris] & I wrote so long ago. Love it!"
The empowerment anthem is still meaningful to single ladies everywhere, and TLC is still upholding the policy.
