Naomie Olindo Shares That Her Cat Gizmo Has Passed Away
The Southern Charm alum posted a touching tribute to her beloved pet.
Naomie Olindo is paying tribute to her late cat, Gizmo, who passed away over the weekend.
The Southern Charm alum announced the loss in her Instagram Story on May 3. "I have very sad news to share today. Gizmo went to be with my dad in heaven over the weekend at 18 years old," Naomie captioned a photo of her late cat and father, Joel Olindo, who passed away in 2019. "To say this little cat lived a FULL life is an understatement."
Naomie rescued Gizmo several years ago, and he often made appearances on Southern Charm. Craig Conover also had a lot of love for Gizmo and helped take care of him when he and Naomie dated.
Naomie paid tribute to Gizmo in her Instagram Story, sharing photos of the feline on boats, helping her at work, and even riding in a helicopter. "Rode in planes, trains, automobiles, helicopters, boats, you name it," Naomie captioned a 2014 pic of herself and Gizmo in the air. "The chillest cat on the planet."
A couple of photos also show the feline getting some camera time while filming Southern Charm. "He knew he was a star," Naomie said of the snaps.
Naomie previously mourned the loss of two other pets. Her parent's dog passed away a few weeks before her dad in 2019, and she said goodbye to her cat Z, whom she had adopted during her relationship with Craig, in early 2020.
