Nene's Shady Birthday Message to Kandi Included Her "Posting My Favorite Pic of Us"
Amid a feud on RHOA, Nene Leakes honored Kandi Burruss on her 44th birthday.
On the same day that Kandi Burruss and Nene Leakes faced off during Part 2 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Season 12 reunion, Kandi also celebrated her 44th birthday — and Nene headed to Instagram to celebrate Kandi's big day by "posting my favorite pic of us" with a helping of shade.
The photo Nene picked to honor Kandi features the singer rolling her eyes while Nene makes a face as if something stinks.
She captioned the moment with just a touch of sass: "I will NOT let the fake beef YOU made up to stop me from wishing you a Happy Birthday [and] posting my favorite pic of us Kandi. Everybody go wish Kandi a Happy Birthday! Then tune into RHOA to watch Kandi have the fakest, want some smoke, beef wit[h] Nene segment."
Nene posted the same photo for Kandi's birthday last year, writing at the time that "it describes our relationship perfectly."
