Here's Your First Look at the New Series Your Husband Is Cheating On Us

Get ready for the most intense drama — on and off the stage. Playwright, director, and producer JD Lawrence is giving us a peek behind the curtain of his new play in the new series Your Husband Is Cheating On Us, which premieres Sunday, April 1 at 9/8c. 

Yes, JD is "a pretty big deal" in the urban theater world, where Tyler Perry also famously got his start. Now JD is about to put on what's sure to be his next big hit, a new play called Your Husband Is Cheating On Us. However, these aren't your average play rehearsals. Oh, no. JD is inviting his actors to live under one roof so they can learn the script and get their dance routines down to ultimately "put on a performance of a lifetime," as JD says in the above trailer.

Of course, that is no easy task when some of the biggest personalities in the biz get together. The cast includes Ginuwine (yes, that Ginuwine), Lia Grant, D'atra Hicks, Tondy Gallant, Kristen Plati, and Jermaine Sellers, and there's no shortage of fiery passion and heated moments among them. 

As JD says in the above trailer for the season, "This ain't Broadway, baby." And we wouldn't have it any other way.
