Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are set to marry on June 29, and it seems like everyone in their orbit is pumped for the big day. The Vanderpump Rules couple became engaged in June 2018 and since then, the SURvers have definitely not been shy about their opinions of the couple tying the knot.
On a recent episode, Brittany asked Katie Maloney-Schwartz to be her Matron of Honor and asked her longtime friend Cara Marie to be her Maid of Honor. While Kristen Doute was asked to be a bridesmaid, she revealed why she thought she would have actually been the Maid of Honor on the Vanderpump Rules After Show.
"Brittany's entire family as I've met them have told me they thank me every day for taking care of her and being her very best friend in L.A.; I'm like a sister to her and I'm like, 'Son of a bitch, I'm going to be f--king Maid of Honor," Kristen said.
But Brittany explained that Kristen's designation as a bridesmaid instead of a Maid of Honor was not a reflection of their friendship: "I told Kristen, just because Katie and Cara are Maid of Honor and Matron of Honor does not mean that I love them more than you guys or mean that I love them more than any of my bridesmaids; my sister is a bridesmaid," Brittany explained. "Katie and Cara are who introduced me to Jax; that's how we all met each other, this was the beginning of everything. Katie is my neighbor; we see each other every day; we've gotten so freakin' close."
In fact, learning that Kristen was disappointed not to be a Maid of Honor had Brittany close to tears. See what Kristen has to say about Brittany's decision to choose Katie over Kristen for the coveted role in the video above.
Speaking of opinions, James Kennedy definitely has some when it comes to Jax and Brittany's choice to have their wedding in a castle in Kentucky. Check out his shady thoughts on their wedding, below.
