While many of us are bundling up in layers of winter clothing this holiday season, Top Chef host and single mom Padma Lakshmi is baring all. This week, she posted an envy-inducing bikini pic to Instagram.
From a beautiful mystery location, which appears to be far from her Manhattan homebase, Padma posed standing in the ocean in a blue two-piece revealing her incredibly toned body.
Padma's love affair with great food is well documented—so just how is this possible?
Padma has been open about gaining a significant amount of weight during each Top Chef season and last year, she revealed how she gets the weight off.
"I love food way too much to starve myself just to look good. I will put in the work at the gym so I can enjoy what I eat," she said. "I believe in everything in moderation."

So after each season, Padma goes into something of a detox mode. "I follow a clean diet: no meats, no sweets, no alcohol, no cheese, no fried food, no wheat," she shared. "And I work out five days a week, boxing three days, lifting weights the other two."
Padma, who has her hands full raising 4-year-old daughter Krishna, shares a tip for making sure you get your workout in, no matter how busy you are. "I carry a jump rope with me everywhere, especially when I’m working," she said. "It’s a great way to squeeze in a quick workout and get your heart rate up when you don’t have time to go to the gym."
