Padma Lakshmi and Susan Sarandon Sport the Spookiest Couples Costume
The #TopChef host and Academy Award winner look positively bootiful in this Halloween throwback.
Halloween is just around the corner, but your fave Bravolebs are already getting into the spirit. Though we may not have seen Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi's Halloween costume for this year yet, she did remind us of the time she and legendary actress Susan Sarandon decided to dress in a frighteningly good couples costume.
The pic is apparently from Halloween 2013, and as you can see, Padma and Susan decided to go as a bride and groom made up to look like skeletons you typically see during the Day of the Dead, a Mexican holiday that also begins on October 31 and is dedicated to honoring family members that have passed away.
In addition to being a well-known gal pal to Padma, Susan is also the godmother of the Top Chef host's daughter Krishna. Padma is also always there for Susan, standing right beside her during her birthday celebration earlier this month.
They've also been known to participate in extracurricular activities of the, shall we say, herbal variety together, as Padma described during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live last year.
That proves it. Padma and Susan are basically the modern-day Thelma and Louise.
