Patricia Altschul Takes You Inside a Holiday "Extravaganza" at Her House (PHOTOS)
Patricia Altschul invited some of her Southern Charm castmates over for an over-the-top holiday affair.
As Southern Charm viewers are well aware, Patricia Altschul goes all out for any gathering at her house. So when a holiday rolls around, it's no surprise that Patricia takes her hosting duties to the next level.
On Season 10, Episode 2 of Southern Charm, Patricia and Whitney Sudler-Smith were preparing to have Craig Conover, Shep Rose, Austen Kroll, Madison LeCroy, Molly O'Connell, and Ryan Albert over to their house for a special holiday meal.
"I do a big extravaganza for Easter," Patricia shared during the Dec. 12 episode as she perfected her over-the-top tablescape, which included a variety of bunny figures, candy, and gorgeous glassware. "I order candy from like 10 different places." Just a couple of those places include La Maison du Chocolat and Harris Teeter, where Patricia gets jelly beans for the table.
Naturally, when Patricia's guests arrived, they were blown away by the setup.
"Look how pretty," Madison said. "Patricia, I love it." Molly agreed, declaring, "This is so beautiful."
The food was equally impressive. "We're having Easter fare," Patricia explained. "Ham, crispy macaroni and cheese, green beans." There were also sweet potatoes, which Craig raved about.
To conclude the meal, everyone in the group got a beautiful cupcake.
This isn't the first time we've seen Patricia's incredible Easter setup. In 2022, she shared a bit about her decor for the holiday via an Instagram post.
"My china has the hand-painted orchid," she wrote at the time. "Many of the bunnies are antique, papier-mâché, Victorian. But it's certainly high kitsch...It's not unrestrained, but it's fun."
Patricia Altschul's 2023 Christmas Decor
Patricia goes big for many other holidays as well. In December 2023, she showed off "super campy" Christmas decor. “It’s that time of year when I bring out all my Christmas animals,” she captioned an Instagram video that showed a singing iguana figure in a Santa hat and a festive flamingo that danced to “Jingle Bells.” In a later video, she showed even more "Christmas kitsch": a faux poinsettia that moved to to "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree."
Where does Patricia Altschul live?
Patricia and Whitney live in the Isaac Jenkins Mikell house located in Charleston's Historic District. As Whitney explains in the video above, the home was "built by British Artisans and it's on the [National Register of Historic Places]."
He added that the house, built in 1853, is "one of the greatest houses in America."
