Patti Stanger: 'Don't Overanalyze' Valentine's Night

Take a deep breath and let it happen, Millionaire Matchmaker says.

As the final hours rush by, are you still looking for exactly the right setting/trinket/words to set the perfect Valentine's Day mood tonight? You are not alone, which is why everyone seems to be banging down Patti Stanger's door for guidance. And the Millionaire Matchmaker's sage advice? "Don't treat Valentine's Day as something you have to do, but something you want to do for the one you love," the Millionaire Matchmaker explains to TooFab. And relax already! "Don't overanalyze the night, just let it happen and the romance will come," she says.

As always, Patti — who's back in the dating pool herself — reminds women to let the man take charge today. He wants to shower you with jewelry? Let him, girlfriend!

And men, keep in mind there's a science behind finding chemistry. Patti suggests planning a dinner tonight by the water. "It heightens the senses and makes you feel more in love," she reveals to OK! Magazine. "Altitudes are good: hot-air ballooning, climbing, eating dinner on top of a mountain. Anything altitude-wise makes you feel like you're in love."

Play your cards right and you'll be blinded by romance tonight. "Sex is important!" Patti tells TooFab. But back away from that relationship milestone if you're not exclusive yet. After all, breaking that rule gets you kicked off Team Patti for life.
