This Is How Seth Meyers Really Feels About Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson's Breakup
The late-night talk show host and Saturday Night Live alum revealed if he saw the split coming.
They were engaged only weeks after dating and headed to splitsville very shortly after that. For many, it didn't come as a huge surprise to learn that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson wouldn't be headed to the altar after all. But, how did Late Night with Seth Meyers host and Saturday Night Live alum Seth Meyers feel about the news?
The talk show host weighed in on the salacious breakup when he appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on October 31. During a game of "Plead the Fifth," Andy asked Seth: "You recently interviewed SNL's Pete Davidson about his new pet pig with Ariana Grande, and a number of other things. On a scale of one to 10, how shocked were you by their breakup?" (Yes, that's right: the short-lived couple shared a pig named Piggy Smallz and Davidson even got a tattoo of the cute, snorting creature.)
"I can answer this: I was shocked," Seth admitted. "Because I feel like a couple that agrees to buy a pig together has a deep, abiding — I mean, again, both people in that relationship have to think a pet pig is a good idea. And you think that means you have a lot in common with someone." Watch the clip above to hear Seth weigh in, as well as answer the age-old question: What's the DILFiest thing about Donald Trump?
