Pete Wentz Weighs In on the Stassi Tattoo

The Best Ink host on why it wasn't a good idea.

On last night's episode of Vanderpump Rules, Jax Taylor revealed a special gift for his on-again-off-again flame Stassi Schroeder: a tattoo of her name on his arm.

How to Watch

Watch Vanderpump Rules on Peacock and the Bravo app.

The ink left Stassi speechles—but one tattoo expert has a clear opinion. Pete Wentz, the Fall Out Boy singer-bassist and host of Oxygen's Best Ink, tells the Dish it probably wasn't a smart move. "The saying is, if you're a dude, only get your mother or daughter's name on you!"

Wentz would know, too. On his tattoo competition series Best Ink, returning December 4 at 10p ET/PT, the host takes fans into the cutthroat and wildly unpredictable world of tattoo artistry. For Season 3, 14 of the best artists will compete for a $100,000 prize. "This season is insane," says Wentz. "The stunts are crazier! I really got to give some input and have some of my ideas into it. I felt alot more comfortable and got into a great rhythm with the judges, too. This cast was awesome. Definitely lots more drama this season."

Though Wentz keeps busy with his show and his band, he reveals that he does occasionally get time to watch The Real Housewives. His favorite franchise? Orange County. "I like all the 'villains,'" he says. "Just the kind of troubled people that are fun to me."
