Dennis Mckinley Pilar Jhena Update

Earlier this summer, Porsha Williams opened up about Dennis McKinley's bond with their daughter, Pilar Jhena McKinley. "Your relationship with pooh bear is so beautiful!" she shared back in June around Father's Day. "Pilar is a true daddy’s girl and I love it!"

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Peacock and the Bravo App.

And, it looks like that is definitely the case. Dennis has been sharing sweet father-daughter moments on Instagram this summer and it's clear these two are having a blast.

This week, Dennis posted a video on Instagram of him dancing with his daughter. "[PJ] sold me out," he captioned the funny moment of her running away mid dance party. "But on any other day we DANCE. Head, Shoulders, Knees, Toes."

The duo also recently attended a red-carpet screening for PAW Patrol: The Movie and Dennis noted that "me & my [queen PJ] had a ball" at the event. He posted several photos from the event, which was also attended by The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Phaedra Parks and her sons, Dylan and Ayden. You can check out the photos here.

Dennis and PJ also attended an immersive animal-themed experience this summer and while PJ didn't love every moment of it (she "was not having lions running up in her face"), Dennis shared that it was a "great experience tho."

Back in 2020, Dennis spoke to The Daily Dish about his life as a dad and what it's been like to watch PJ grow. "I think every dad wants to be a good dad, right; nobody wants to be a bad father, so with PJ I’m learning that she’s independent (she doesn’t like to be picked up, she doesn’t want you to feed her, she plays by herself). So I’m excited to allow her to make her own decisions, to grow in her own individuality. Right, so my philosophy is this is my kid now, but one day she will be someone else’s leader! I’ll help her connect those dots over the next 20 years," he said.

And being a dad has definitely taught Dennis something about himself, as he explained last year: "I’ve learned that I’m not as tough as I thought I was! LOL."
