Ashley Darby Reveals the Sex of Her Baby
The RHOP cast member shared an update on baby No. 2.
Oh, boy! Ashley Darby took to Instagram on Thursday (November 18) to confirm the sex of her baby.
"Michael has lived in Washington DC for almost 30 years, but this is a bike ride different than any one he’s taken before," she wrote on Instagram. The bike ride ended with Michael being greeted by Ashley and son Dean with a banner that reads: "It's a boy!!!"
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member is currently expecting her second child with husband Michael Darby. The baby is due in February 2021.
The couple are already parents to a 1-year-old son, Dean. Ashley confirmed her pregnancy back in September, and in October Ashley revealed that Dean is already getting comfy in his role as a big brother: "Baby is really tumbling in there and loving the hugs from big brother Deano."
Ashley previously shared with The Daily Dish that she was ready to become a mom again.
"Most definitely. I mean, seeing how wonderful Dean is and Michael is just such a hands-on dad. I would really have a football team if I could, but out of respect for my partner, you know, I’ll stick with two," she said back in June, noting that she is "100 percent ready for a baby now."
As for why Ashley was ready to give baby Dean a sibling, she said, "People say have kids younger. It’s easier to keep them together. Also Michael is very aware of his age and he wants to be around for as long as he can with his kids. So, we’re definitely trying to have our children back to back."
