Andy Cohen Shows His Support for Project Runway Alum Chris March Following a "Debilitating Accident"
"Anything you can give to help is appreciated," the WWHL host shared about the fashion designer's crisis.
Project Runway and Mad Fashion alum Chris March is getting support from Andy Cohen in the wake of a health crisis he's been dealing with since June of 2017. Andy shed some light on the designer's issues in a tweet over the weekend, in which he showed his support for March, writing, "Chris March, the lovable, wonderful, talented alum of Bravo's Project Runway and Mad Fashion is in bad shape and needs our help with his medical care. Anything you can give to help is appreciated."
According to the Go Fund Me page shared by the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host, March "suffered a debilitating accident and had to be placed in a medically induced coma where he stayed for many weeks. Thanks to the miracle of modern science he has pulled through, but is still in a very fragile state. His right arm has been paralyzed and at this moment, has limited use of his hands and legs. In addition, he's dealing with respiratory issues that demand constant care. With skyrocketing medical bills, his health insurance has maxed out and he's in desperate need of continuous physical therapy in order to get back on track."
While Chris "keeps getting stronger," he is still recovering from the incident. Through the Go Fund Me campaign, those close to the designer note, "We want Chris March to continue making us giggle with his infectious laugh, incredible outfits , unexpected outrages and most of all his out - of - this - world wigs , all of which make us always feel fabulous!"
Chris appeared on Season 4 of Project Runway, in addition to his own Bravo series. Some of the notable stars he's worked with in the past include Madonna, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, and Meryl Streep, including her 2010 Oscars dress. He even teamed up with Target on a costume and accessories line. You can help Chris on this path to recovery by donating to his Go Fund me campaign.
